We got to go to our first ever Texans game, or any NFL game for that matter, this past Sunday with our friends Aaron and Ashly. Thank you Evans&Wood for the tickets! It was the first time for all four of us, and what a great game to be at! It was the Texans' season opener, and to our surprise and delight they beat the Colts. Hopefully it's the start of a successful season for them...we'll see.
So this is not my favorite picture of us, but it's the only one we took and it's not too terrible, so it's getting posted. I was going to post the one with me and Ashly, but I just couldn't do it. You know when you're the close one to the camera and it's just an awkward angle? Enough said.
I believe this is the opening kick-off. The roof was closed that day since it was stinkin hot, which actually is really good for the Texans. Twice or maybe three times Peyton Manning had to call time out because he was trying to yell audibles and couldn't be heard by his team. With the roof closed, it gets so loud in there that it truly did give the home team the advantage. So fun!
